Seline: a base between sea and mountains

Seline is a coastal village below Velebit, suited to days that combine the Adriatic with the Paklenica area. Staying in an apartment gives families and friends room to cook, rest and choose their own pace.
Build your stay around beach time, a park outing and relaxed evenings. It offers a smaller coastal setting than a large city; traffic and beach activity still vary with the season. Apartman Linda is at Put Jabukovca 29.
01
Sea and mountains in the same stay
Seline sits between the Velebit slopes and the Adriatic. A morning swim and a separate park day work well here: you can leave walking boots at the apartment when you head to the beach, then prepare properly for the mountains the next day.
02
A village rhythm
Expect a smaller coastal village rather than a city promenade with attractions at every turn. Summer brings more traffic and beach visitors. Shop before a long outing and check restaurant hours, especially outside the busiest months.
03
Who it suits
Families have room to alternate outings with meals at home. Hikers and climbers can use Seline as a base for Paklenica, while pet owners should check local beach signs before choosing a swimming spot. The shared yard is not an unsupervised pet-care service.
04
A simple first day
Start with the nearby coast, find your preferred food shop and leave time to settle in. Save mountain plans for after checking the forecast and park notices. Visit neighbouring Starigrad for a waterfront walk without moving accommodation.
